IMPACT GROUPS

We cannot eradicate poverty and achieve social justice in Nepal while gender inequality persists. By focusing on women and girls, CARE aims to help entire households and communities achieve development and inclusion. Thus, CARE will partner with and target its impact for economically and socially marginalized women and girls—with a specific focus on women and girls within the following four groups in Nepal:

  1. Adolescent girls (ages 10-19)
  2. Urban and peri-urban communities
  3. Women-headed households
  4. Dalit and ethnic minorities in the Terai and Western Hills
