Focus Population/Geography
Focus Population
CARE specifically deals with issues that are pertinent to the poor, vulnerable and socially excluded section of the society. It closely works with landless, Dalits, Janajatis, Kamaiyas, Haliyas, People Living With and Affected by HIV/AIDs, Sex Workers, and Conflict- and Disaster-Affected People. Incorporating women issues in its programs and ensuring their active participation is a cross cutting criteria for all the programs and projects of CARE Nepal. Similarly children and youth also cut across all the categories.
Geographic Focus
All of CARE Nepal’s programs are focus towards areas that are geographically challenged and remote. Its primary focus is areas of Churia and other remote Areas. Its secondary focus is Far/Mid-western and Central Terai of Nepal.
