Project Goal:
to support national polio eradication by eliminating transmission of poliovirus in Nepal.

Project Objectives:
To support district wide polio eradication initiatives in Mahottari and Kanchanpur, districts.
-To strengthen AFP surveillance system.
-To mobilize NGOs, political leaders, local government and other leaders in polio eradication initiatives and thus, increase the polio immunization coverage among children under five years of age in Mahottari and Kanchanpur districts in routine immunization days and mop-up campaigns.
